LOUISBURG, N.C. (Aug. 13, 2015) – The opening of the new Hardee’s® of Louisburg will take place next week with planned promotional activities to follow including the opportunity for early risers to win free Thickburgers® for a year. The new Hardee’s at 110 South Bickett Blvd. opens on Monday, Aug. 17th, at 5 a.m.
Planned opening celebration activities will follow several days later on Saturday, Aug. 22. On that morning, in conjunction with radio station WRAL Mix 101.5, the first 101 people in line at opening at 5 a.m. will receive free Thickburgers for a year (coupons for one a week). Those guests also will get a free Made From ScratchTM Sausage Biscuit and a beverage that morning.
On Saturday WRAL will also be broadcasting from the restaurant from 6-8 a.m. The Hardee’s will also have a prize wheel during the on-site broadcast with gift cards, coupons for free items and items featuring the Hardee’s logo as the prizes. Local radio station WRDU will broadcast from the restaurant from 11 a.m.- 1 p.m. and will also have the prize wheel available for guests.
The new Hardee’s will employ 55 to 60 people, according to Hardee’s franchise operator Boddie-Noell Enterprises. The company operates a number of other Hardee’s locations in Eastern North Carolina and has 130 locations throughout the state.
In addition to a menu that is built around the famous Made From Scratch Biscuits, charbroiled 100% Black Angus Beef Thickburgers and Hand-Breaded Chicken TendersTM , the new Hardee’s location will also feature the chain’s fresh-baked buns for the full selection of 1/3-pound and larger Thickburgers.
Seating up to 75 guests, the new restaurant has a distinctive look, featuring the latest “retro” Hardee’s restaurant design and includes a flatscreen TV. The restaurant also features drive-thru service. The new location also features the colors of Louisburg College (red and blue) with special artwork related to the rich history of the nearby college.

Operating hours for the Hardee’s are 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Mondays through Thursdays, 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sundays.
This newest location will be the 337th Hardee’s operated by Boddie-Noell, which has been a Hardee’s franchise operator for more than 50 years and is the largest Hardee’s franchisee in the United States.
