In some ways Boddie-Noell Enterprises (BNE) is the same as the day we started in 1962 with the values and commitments to family just as strong and evident today. We’ve created a culture of family and team that exists in each of our 330-plus restaurants as well as our company headquarters. Our treatment of employees is well known in the restaurant field where we enjoy some of the best retention of long-term employees in the industry. Our employee culture initiatives are widely recognized.

bne_hh_logoFor instance, we established BNE Helping Hands, an employee assistance fund that provides financial help to Boddie-Noell employees in times of need.  It is designed to assist employees who may be experiencing an unforeseen personal crisis such as acute illness, natural disaster, fire or flood.

We’ve launched LiveWell3 – a three-part wellness initiative for members of the Group Insurance Plan that focuses on smoking/tobacco cessation, weight loss and improved fitness through walking.

Boddie-Noell is proud to sponsor Corporate Chaplains in a number of our restaurants and at our corporate office. Corporate Chaplains of America exists to offer care to employees with personal and professional life issues. All relationships are permission-based and confidential, so the employee is in charge of how deep and to what extent the relationship will grow. Whatever the scope of each family’s problems, or concerns, Corporate Chaplains of America has a network of qualified and caring outsource providers that help our employees with individual needs, at no cost to the employee.
